Natural furniture

Some criteria for choosing a natural piece of furniture:

  • Natural wooden furniture is made with material from responsibly managed forests, based on programmed felling, in compliance with the criteria established by the Forest Stewardship Council, an international entity that certifies that the forest’s ability to regenerate is not compromised.
  • The finish of a natural piece of furniture is important: the choice of the finish depends on the essence of the wood. Some woods are finished with vegetable-based oil, others are finished with wax, others still do not need any finishing product.
  • A natural piece of furniture must be made with natural materials, rather than recycled ones which, although they do not affect natural resources, are poor quality and often produced using criteria that are not sustainable from an environmental point of view.
  • Our natural furniture is light-weight because the material used is light-weight. On the other hand, the construction solutions adopted guarantee that the structures can support loads up to 30 times their weight. Lightness is matched by extraordinary strength and durability.
  • The original material used to make a natural piece of furniture should be recognizable, its appearance must not be altered, on the contrary, the properties and tones of the wood are emphasized by choosing the most appropriate finish. Color can still be used, not to hide or simulate other materials, but to emphasize the depth or volume of an object. We use color on plywood surfaces, large uniform surfaces made from flat panels are colored with protective colorless or pigmented products that do not cover the texture of the wood but allow it to be seen.
